About Me

Hi, my name is Lesley Janes I live in St. John's Newfoundland where I offer art lessons for groups and individuals of all ages in both acrylic and oil paint as well as drawing lessons and colored pencil classes for all age groups. I provide all of the materials needed to create your masterpiece at a reasonable rate.

I have studied acrylic painting with Brenda Rowe and oil painting with Melanie Smith. During July 2015 I participated in a 1 week drawing and print making workshop with Stephen Zeifman in Port Rexton, NL.

In February 2016 I completed all requirements of my Pet Portraiture Diploma, with Distinction, through the London Art College, something I am very proud of! Summer 2016 I went to PEI for a week of acrylic study with Robert Burridge!

May 2017 I spent a week in Copenhagen, Denmark to visit with Melanie Smith! It was so fantastic to paint with her again!
